Welcome to the SSA Alumnae NetworkThank you for taking the time to visit our site. We are the newly formed alumnae association for members of the St. Scholastica Academy of Canon City community. We are run by alumnae volunteers for the purpose of providing resource for SSA-ers who would like to stay in touch with former classmates, faculty, and staff. Since the closing of the Academy, staying in touch with each other has become more and more difficult. By providing a cyber-home, we can reconnect. Future plans for the Network include a mentorship program, reunions, and a photo archive. Please feel free to browse the site to learn more. If you have specific questions, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions section, or e-mail us directly. Please take the time to register your contact information with us. How did the Network get started? The idea for an alumnae association was concieved over lunch one afternoon in December of 2004. Mereceds ('96) and Teresa ('97) were pondering breadsticks and soon-to-be 10 year high school reunions, when the question of "do you even know where people are now?" came up. Lunch ended with yummy leftovers, and 2 goals: find a place for an all school reunion and find alumnae contact information. By January 2005 the first incarnation of this website had been launched, and the response was incredible! Before long other alumnae were roped into helping out, and we were off and running.
